Commissioned by the New Horizons Band, London, Ontario. This stirring work begins with percussion (snare, timpani, and bass drum) before moving into an opening extended fanfare. This, in turn, develops into an upbeat march in the same vein as the theme from the Great Escape. Fun and energetic.
