SATB, Flute, String Orchestra
Commissioned by “thatotherchoir” and the Blyth Festival Orchestra in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary. A spacious work that allows every element of the ensemble to have their moment including flute solos, string orchestra, and a cappella moments. The text by W. Wilfred Campbell describes the shoreline of Lake Huron which is reflected in the “waves” and “mist” heard in the music.
Beautiful and stirring. A piano/vocal version is available for rehearsal purposes.
